Vintage 1 – A Work in Progress

Once upon a time, I was an artist. Thanks to my TBI, I seem to be again.

There’s a lot that the TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) has affected negatively, and we can get into that some other time, but the one bright spot is art. As soon as I realized that the primary impact was the visual cortex in the lower rear of the the brain, I started to exercising that area of my brain by starting to draw again… after approximately a 30 year hiatus. The last time I had properly sat down to paint was in 1994… so a 30 year hiatus.

While I can’t consistently ride a bike right now; mainly due to sensory overload and the inability to process multiple moving objects (also known as traffic), I can use them as subject matter for drawing and painting.
